Public Works Department
The Town of Fairplay Public Works Department is hiring a full time position.
The Public Works Department operates and maintains the Town's utilities, street and sidewalk repair and maintenance, building inspections, parks and recreation areas, and Town buildings and grounds.
Candidates for a position in the Public Works Department should possess the following minimum qualifications: a valid Colorado driver's license, ability to pass a criminal background check and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience operating heavy equipment and snow removal equipment preferred. Be able to do physical labor and able to lift 50 pounds. On-call shifts are required. Candidate must have the ability to get licensed in wastewater and water treatment within one year of hire.
This non-exempt position offers a starting salary of $30,000 to $35,000 DOQ and includes an excellent benefit package.
